Description: During this unprecedented time, this grief support group offers a space where you can talk freely and without judgment about the loss of a loved one as a result of COVID-19. During the weekly group session, you will also be able to find companionship from others who may understand what you are experiencing and develop coping strategies.

Getting Those ZZZZZs: Sleep Hygiene for Kids, Tweens and Teens!

Date: Monday March 16th, 2020 for ages 5-9

Wednesday March 18th 2020 for ages 10-12

Tuesday March 24th 2020 for ages 13-18

Time: 6:00pm - 7:00pm

Cost: $25 for this workshop. Description: A workshop designed for children, tweens and teens that will provide fun and relevant education on why restful sleep is necessary for growing minds/bodies & will provide tips on how to improve optimal sleep in youth.

Group Objectives:

  • Learn clear components of why effective sleep habits and sleep hygiene are necessary for youth
  • Develop a solid understanding of what can contribute to poor sleep in children ages 5-18
  • Learn about what sleep deficiency can do to a growing body and mind
  • Obtain age-appropriate education on proper sleep hygiene techniques in order to encourage lifelong healthy sleep habits
