I road cycle, hike with my dog, read, and crochet.

What made you become a therapist?

This is who I am. From the time I was little, I was sensitive to other people’s feelings and experiences. And I want people to live the best life they can, free from pain and self doubt.

What are your specialties?

Addiction, Couples, Teens, Lifespan Development, Adjusting to life changes, Depression, Anxiety, and LGBTQ issues.

Why do you believe that counseling can help?

Unconditional positive regard, we all need to feel valued first. Then positive change can occur.

Did you have a career before becoming a therapist?

I had a short career as an Early Childhood Development Specialist.

Why is it important to seek counseling?

Life is not meant to be handled alone.
