Ale Bugaro, LCPC, NCC
Ale Bugaro is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor with years of experience working with adults, adolescents, and families. She has worked in different settings such as not-for-profit organizations, crisis intervention programs and Lake County Health Department. Ale believes every individual can benefit from therapy and works to create a safe, trusting, non-threatening environment for each client. Ale specializes in helping adults with work-life balance and transitions, depression, stress, anxiety, self-esteem, grief/loss, trauma, self-harm, LGBTQ and women’s issues. Ale utilizes a client-centered approach to assist clients in identifying their strengths and skills and help achieve their goals. She believes that building upon the client’s strengths is a critical component of the therapeutic process. Ale is bilingual (Spanish) and works with culturally diverse populations. Ale earned a BA in Human Growth & Development from North Park University and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology.
