Andrea Stiles is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in working with adolescents, adults, couples and families. She has been in the field since 2012 working with mental health, mood, personality and trauma issues, and addictive disorders. She earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University. Her clinical interests include women’s issues, gender, trauma, sexuality, dating, relationships (both traditional and nontraditional), addiction, and life transition issues. Andrea believes that the most important aspect in therapy is having a collaborative, genuine, and empathic relationship with the client. Andrea takes a holistic and integrated approach to caring for all clients, placing emphasis on understanding the cultural and social justice aspects of their concerns. She identifies herself as a servant leader and advocate for those silenced by stigma, judgment, shame, and guilt. She is an LGBTQ- and kink- affirmative clinician. Andrea is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision at Adler University. She is also working towards her certifications in alcohol and drug counseling, sex therapy and yoga therapy.
