Jennifer Nudell is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, who graduated from Northwestern University with a Masters in Counseling Psychology. During her time at Northwestern, Jennifer interned at the Family Institute as a student therapist where she worked with individuals seeking assistance for a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, transitional issues, grief and loss, and eating disorders. While Jennifer’s training has focused on a psychodynamic approach, she likes to work with clients from an integrative perspective, utilizing interventions rooted in cognitive-behavioral, strength-based, dialectical-behavioral, and existential theory. Jennifer received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Philosophy from Boston University. During this time, Jennifer volunteered at a shelter for homeless women and children and as a phone operator at a parental stress hotline, providing resources and emotional support for distressed parents in need of assistance. Following her undergraduate education, Jennifer worked in customer service management and human relations, developing her abilities to problem solve and to understand and attend to the unique needs of individuals.
