Jennifer Spitler is a Licensed Professional Counselor who graduated from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a broad range of clinical experiences serving adults, adolescents, children and couples. She received training from the Florida Institute of Technology, and holds an additional certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Jennifer utilizes a mindfulness-based approach to a diverse set of mental health needs, focusing in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Jennifer works to provide a validating, safe and supportive space for you to begin the journey of healing. Jennifer specializes in anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, relationship concerns, body image, grief and loss, life transitions, LGBTQ issues, cultural issues, and micro-aggression. Jennifer holds a strong clinical interest in neuroscience, health psychology, and holistic healing methods, working to integrate a body and mind approach into her work. Jennifer received her bachelors degree in Cultural Studies at Columbia College Chicago, and has a strong passion for diversity and intersectionality within mental health.
