Kim McManus is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified School Social Worker, and a Registered Dual Disorder Professional with over twenty years of experience working with adults, adolescents and families. Kim earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago and has worked in a variety of settings, including schools, community mental health agencies, and an Employee Assistance Program. She specializes in mood and anxiety disorders, relationship issues, addictions, self-esteem, occupational stressors, and challenges related to life transitions. Kim provides a safe, non-judgmental therapeutic setting in which clients can learn to utilize their strengths and develop new skills to enable them to regain balance and wellness in their lives. She incorporates cognitive behavioral, mindfulness strategies, and motivational interviewing to encourage client self-awareness and promote personal growth and change.
